Do you see the world around you through a unique eye? Do you think the world around you
\ncan be described in a collage? If yes, then here is a competition for you.
\nThe focus of this event is on experimenting imaginatively with collage to both help generate
\nideas and to also produce some ‘complete’ works of art. A variety of collage techniques
\nhelps to enhance exploratory mind and imaginations. This event is suitable for anyone with
\nan interest in art and in exploring new ways of generating ideas. You will explore collage as a
\npictorial medium that examines contemporary subjects and ideas. The emphasis is on
\nexperiencing collage as a tool for thinking, as a means for articulating form, as inspiration for
\ntransferring ideas to their art practice and to encourage you to nurture new ideas. The
\nevent probes traditional and experimental methods that enable you to visualize your ideas.
\nELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
\n1. All under graduate or post graduate students from any discipline shall be
\nallowed to participate in the event.
\nRULES AND REGULATIONS:
\n\u2211 Team shall consist of two members.
\n\u2211 Theme for collage shall be given on the spot.
\n\u2211 Time limit for collage making shall be 1\u00bd hour.
\n\u2211 Team must submit a one page write up on the theme of their collage, neatly written
\nin A4 size paper, along with names of all participants and Institute.
\n\u2211 No mobile or Internet means would be allowed to use at the time of Competition.
\n\u2211 Only chart papers will be provided from Institute, All other material must be brought
\nby the participants. Paper, Magazines, Glue, Scissor, Sketch Pen\/colours etc. to be
\nbrought by participants.
\n\u2211 Team may disqualify on exceeding time or deviating from the theme or
\nunsatisfactory explanation to jury.
